Ryan Ashley is a black and gray artist based out of Kingston, Pennsylvania. She specializes in intricate detail, and focuses on macabre Victorian imagery. Much of her work includes delicate jewel work, lace, filigree and romanticized lady faces. Prior to tattooing, Ryan worked as a designer in the Fashion industry. She tries to use the body's natural anatomy to allow her pieces take shape and form. Influenced by her previous career, many of her tattoos are freehanded right on and have much movement and flow. Aside from tattooing, Ryan is a co-owner and founder of the Strange and Unusual Oddities Parlors in both Kingston and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Along with tattooing and collecting unusual things, she loves dogs, aliens, and "the Office" reruns.
